How we verify.

A directory is only worth the accuracy of its worst entry. Here is exactly what we check before a listing goes live.

Primary sources only

Every date, venue and organizer is confirmed against a page the organizer themselves publishes. We do not take dates from event aggregators, listing sites, or press releases about an event — only from the body running it. Aggregators are where wrong dates go to multiply: one error is copied, then cited, and the citation makes it look confirmed.

Every listing carries its date of verification

Conference dates move. Venues change. A listing that was right in March can be wrong by June, and a directory that hides when it last checked is asking you to trust a fact with no expiry. Every listing shows the date it was last confirmed and links the source we confirmed it against, so you can judge for yourself whether to re-check before booking travel.

What we will not do

Where a detail is not published at source, we leave it out rather than guess. That is a deliberate trade: a listing here may be less complete than one elsewhere, and it will not be confidently wrong. In practice this most often affects:

  • Registration pricing — frequently unpublished until registration opens, and frequently changed after.
  • Format — whether an event is in-person, virtual or hybrid is often stated nowhere on the organizer’s own pages.
  • Full street addresses — a venue name is usually confirmable; the postal address often is not.

An omission on this site means “the organizer has not said”, not “we did not look”.

We are not the organizer

Regulatory Events is a directory. We do not run these events, we are not affiliated with the bodies that do, and we take no fee for a listing. Every listing links to the organizer’s official page, because that is where you should register and where the authoritative answer lives.

Found an error?

Tell us and we will fix it or remove the listing. A wrong date costs a reader a flight; that is a worse outcome than an empty row. Email hello@regulatoryevents.com.
